of original audio creations. Audion contains over 600MB
of sound files designed for use specifically on computers
as System Alert Beeps, StartUp Sounds, System Clock
Sounds, Email Replacement Sounds, and Collectible
files. The CD-ROM is partitioned for Macintosh, Windows, and selected portions will play on your audio CD player.
The Sounds
Audion provides both 16-bit/44.1kHz and 8-bit/22.5kHz versions of every sound included on the CD. All sounds in the Macintosh partition are in System 7 format, allowing instant listening by double-clicking the file.

System Alert Beeps
Audion includes over 150 unique System Alert Beeps, each available in both 16-bit/44.1kHz and 8-bit/22.5kHz stereo versions. The beeps ranges from 1 second up to 2.5 seconds and vary in style from extremely hi-tech, musical, mechanic, to natural. These are unique sounds in that they are not merely sound effects, but each contain excellent stereo effects and are of the highest clarity and fidelity.
 
System Clock Sounds
Audion includes 15 sets of sounds for use as your System Clock Sounds, which can play at 1/4 Past, 1/2 Past, 1/4 'Til, Top Of the Hour, and chime. Each set contains a sound for each function of the hour which is uniform with the theme of the set. The sounds can be used with the Date & Time Control Panel of System 7.5, or with the shareware "SuperClock" control panel.
System Clock Sounds Sets Include:
Grandfather Clock - a highly-requested set of clock sounds, this set contains pure samples of a grandfather clock that will allow your Mac to emulate its classic chiming melody.
Walky Talky - a unique set of sounds that simulate a voice via short-wave radio. "Quarter past the hour, over," "Half past the hour, Over," "Quarter 'Til the hour, over," and "Top of the hour, over and out!" The chime is in Morse code.
Rock-n-Roll - this set is a rockin' bunch of sounds for your clock, each made of a screaming lick on an electric guitar in the melody of a grandfather clock. The chime is a jammin' chord of distortion.

StartUp Movies
Audion brings you several great digital animation clips that play automatically when you start your Mac. These 3D Quicktimes are short, 3-7 second clips that you place into your System Folder to be played while your extensions load, and each have stereo sound.

StereoMorph - a cool movie that morphs the letter M into A into C into I...etc to spell "Macintosh," as the entire word appears surprisingly at the conclusion.
Digital Entry - a futuristic "countdown to startup" movie whose numbers revolve, revealing a new number at each turn. Audio is included.
Thin Air StartUp - an exciting little clip that begins in darkness and suddenly reveals the word "Macintosh" one letter at a time, as the begin revolving from left to right. The audio follows the transition from left to right, creating a nice effect.

•US Orders - All orders are shipped via First-Class mail, unless otherwise requested. 2nd Day Shipping is available within the US upon request for an additional fee.
